Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On Baseball'. Tonight it is Game 3 of this year's Crosstown Series, between Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. The two Chicago teams have split the two at Wrigley, and have moved the series to Guaranteed Rate Field, on the South Side.

Bad news for the White Sox as they will be without their All-Star, Avaisail Garcia, who is on the DL with strained ligament on the right thumb. He will be placed on the 10-Day DL, and will be replaced by Alen Hanson.

The Cubs come into tonight's game 1/2 game behind the Milwaukee Brewers for the N.L. Central lead, with a record of 52-47. While the White Sox still owns A.L. worst record at 39-58.

Tonight's pitching matchup are a pair of righties. Jake Arrieta for the Cubs, and James Shields for the White Sox. This year has not been banner years for both pitchers, who had their fair share of success earlier this decade. Arrieta comes in with a 9-7, 4.11 ERA, and 111 Ks. Meanwhile Shields comes in with a record of 2-2, 5.79 ERA, and 34 Ks.
