Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Football’. This Afternoon, it is Kansas City Chiefs taking on Miami Dolphins.

Chiefs head back to the stadium, where they won last year’s Super Bowl. Today, they get to play the host team of that Super Bowl, the Miami Dolphins.

This will be a test for the Miami Dolphins’ Defense, who is 2nd in points allowed. As they take on a Chiefs team who is 2nd in points scored.

The matchup that could happen today between the receivers and defensive backs will be between Chiefs Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill against Xavien Howard. Hill is one of the league leaders in receiving, while Howard leads the league in interceptions.

Then the other question when Chiefs Offense and Dolphins Defense takes the field, will be who will cover Travis Kelce between the Dolphins Linebackers and/or Safeties? There are some options with the Dolphins including Kyle Von Noy or Andrew Van Ginkel as two options.

Now when Dolphins Offense and Chiefs Defense takes the field, the question there will be will Tua Tagovailoa lead the Dolphins to score more points than when Patrick Mahomes and company take the field? Also, will the Dolphins be able to establish some sort of running game against Chiefs Defense?

It is Kansas City Chiefs taking on Miami Dolphins, coming up shortly.

This opponents in this year’s version are the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers and AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs.

49ers are a win away from completing a 3-year rebuild and will try for a second time to win a Super Bowl playing complimentary football (Running Game and Great Defense). In their 5 Super Bowl Championships they won it through the arms of Joe Montana and Steve Young.

Meanwhile the Chiefs are hoping Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid will deliver Kansas City its first Vince Lombardi Trophy since the days of Hank Stram and Len Dawson in Super Bowl LIV. In that 1969 season, Len Dawson was the quarterback for that championship team. He only threw the ball 166 times, with 9 TDs and 13 INTs. In this Super Bowl Chiefs Team, Mahomes threw the ball 484 times for 26 TDs and 5 INTs.

Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Professional Football'. Tonight it is the 2018 AFC Championship Game, as New England Patriots take on Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots come in as the #2 seed, with a record of 11-5, while the Chiefs come in with a record of 12-4.

As the little infographic above shows, this is a tale of two franchises in this conference championship game. The Patriots will be playing in their 8th straight conference championship game, while the Chiefs will be playing their 1st conference championship game since 1993, when they lost to Bills, 30-13.

Not only is this the Chiefs' 1st conference championship game since 1993, it is their first ever conference championship game at home. In their 1969 Super Bowl Championship Season, they were a wild card and defeated the Oakland Raiders in Oakland, in order to make it to Super Bowl IV. But they are hoping that this year begins a new era, as they everybody involved with the Chiefs, experience the raw talent of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes has marveled not just the Kansas City Faithful, but the rest of the league. However the New England Patriots, would like to say that they still like their old reliable, Tom Brady.

The Patriots are led by Future, 1st Ballot Hall-of-Famer, Tom Brady at quarterback. Sony Michel is New England's leading rusher. While James White is the team's leading receiver.

As for the team's regular season stats, they average 27.2 PPG, while moving the ball at 393.4 YPG (266.1 through the air and 127.3 on the ground). Defensively, they allow 20.3 PPG, while yielding 359.1 YPG (246.4 through the air and 112.7 on the ground). Their turnover/takeaway ratio is +10.

For the Chiefs, they are led by the aforementioned Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. Damian Williams was last week's leading rusher.  And Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill are Kansas City's receiving threats.

As far as their team stats, they average 35.3 PPG, while moving the ball at 425.6 YPG (309.7 YPG through the air and 115.9 on the ground). Defensively they allow 26.3 PPG, while yielding 405.5 YPG (273.4 through the air and 132.1 on the ground). Their turnover/takeaway ratio is +9.

It is 2018 AFC Championship Game, between New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. The Game's Live Blog, will begin shortly.

Final Thoughts:
What a Game! These two teams played like 2 of the best teams in the NFL. Rams were the survivors in this game. Chiefs can look at this game, as an interconference loss.

Chiefs and Rams will have a bye, next week. Rams will visit the Lions in Week 13. While the Chiefs will visit Oakland, to face the Raiders.
