Final Thoughts: Well Jose Abreu came through in tonight's game. He was 2/5, with 3-RBIs were the difference in tonight's game.  Abreu ends the game with a walk-off single scoring Willy Garcia and Alen Hanson.  As for the Yankees you just get a feeling that their pitching staff is underachieving.  One Yankees pitcher who hasn't underachieve was tonight's starter, Luis Severino. Severino went seven strong, struck out 12, with no walks.  The Yankees Bullpen however has terrible command.  In the last two innings, the Yankees 'Pen gave up 6 base on balls.

Final Thoughts: Well it was a battle of the bullpens at Citi Field.  And the Mets Bullpen defeats Cubs Bullpen.  The 5-run, Bottom of 8th Inning was a killer for the Cubs.  First, Granderson leads-off the inning with a solo shot off of Carl Edwards Jr. Later in that inning, Paul Duda hits a 3-run blast off of Hector Rondon.  It would be a 5-run frame for the Mets.  So the depleted Mets defeat the .500 Cubs 9-4.  Cubs take the day off tomorrow, head to Pittsburgh for a weekend series with the Pirates.  The Mets will try to cut into the Nationals lead as they take on Washington, this weekend.
