These two teams are battling to stay relevant in A.L. Central. The Indians are a couple of game behind the Twins for the American League Central Lead. The Indians look like they are going to win the A.L. Central, but more than likely will have to travel to play Game 1 of their ALDS. While the White Sox are playing out the season and hope they evaluate what they have on the Major League Roster.

It was a well pitched game. Bauer just made fewer mistakes than Shields. The Indians should consider expanding their starting rotation to 6-men, after the injury by Trevor Bauer.

Final Thoughts:
The Indians showed why they are going to be playing for a spot in the Postseason and the White Sox showed why they are hoping to start their callups from the Minors. The White Sox commit 3 errors, Covey gave up 5 walks.  Meanwhile the Indians only had one error and Bauer only gave 2 walks. The Indians took the first of the 3-game series.

Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball’. This Evening, it is a rematch of the historic 2016 World Series. As the Chicago Cubs take on the Cleveland Indians. These are the two best teams over the last two-plus years.

As you remember about the World Series, the Indians had a 3-1 series lead. But the Cubs won Games 5&6, to force Game 7.

And than that Game 7 the Cubs had the lead late, until Rajai Davis hits the Game-Tying Home Run in the Bottom of the 8th Inning. And then the Cubs caught a weather break, in the form of a rain delay. When the delay came to the end, the Cubs scored two runs in the Top of the 10th Inning. And the Bottom half of that inning was concluded by Kris Bryant throwing out
