Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball'. This Afternoon it is Chicago Cubs taking on Houston Astros. This is a battle of division leaders in interleague play. These were once former division rivals, when the Astros were in the N.L. Central.

This Afternoon's Starting Pitchers are a battle of Coles. Left-hander Cole Hamels will go for the Cubs. While right-hander Gerrit Cole will go for the Astros. Hamels comes in with a K/BB ratio of 2.73, while averaging 4.07 P/PA. While Gerrit Cole comes in with a K/BB ratio of 5.88, while averaging 4.2.

Final Thoughts:
A 5-run, 3rd Inning was the difference in the Astros 6-5 win, over their old division rivals, Chicago Cubs. As for the Cubs, they just had a bad inning and was not able to limit the strikeouts.
