This is another battle Blue Blood Men’s Basketball Programs. Carolina has won 6 National Championships. While the Jayhawks have 3 National Championships. Some people has called this the ‘Roy Williams Bowl’, as the retired college basketball coach have been employed by both schools to lead their Men’s Basketball Programs. For the Tar Heels, they have overcome struggles early in the season and have made a spectacular tournament run, as an 8 seed. They would hope that Manek and Bacot would be the difference in winning the National Championship. For Kansas, they were able to be the last surviving of the #1 seeds in this year’s tournament. They are hoping that their bench would be able to be the key in cutting down the nets after 10:30 pm CDT. Tar Heels are led by Armando Bacot in scoring and rebounding. Miami is enjoying their first ever appearance into the Elite 8. They would like to continue this year’s run. However, to face Villanova on Saturday, they must face a Blue Blood. Kansas Jayhawks is looking for their 4th National Championship in NCAA school history. They are the Tournament’s last remaining #1 seed. And they are hoping for transfer Remy Martin to continue his scoring run. He is averaging 19.3 PPG and is a spark for the Jayhawks. Hurricanes hopes that their big Kameron McGusty, Charlie Moore, and Jordan Miller will carry them to New Orleans. Hurricanes are led by Kameron McGusty in scoring. This National Championship Game pits the Big XII Conference (Baylor Bears) and the West Coast Conference. (Gonzaga Bulldogs). These two programs were supposed to play against each other on December 5th, 2020. But that game was cancelled due to COVID-19. Well now we have this matchup in the final game of the 2020-21 Season. Bears have cruised through the tournament. Their closest margin of victory was 9 points against Arkansas. This is their second national championship game appearance since 1948. On the other hand, the Zags were cruising the tournament until they met UCLA on Saturday Night. They won that game in overtime on a buzzer-beater by Jalen Suggs, after Johnny Juzang tied it with a layup. This is Gonzaga’s second national championship appearance in the last four tournaments. The Lopes have only played Division 1-A Basketball since 2013. And this is their first appearance to the NCAA Tournament. They are known for their commercials promoting the Phoenix University. As Andy Katz points out, Grand Canyon likes to score in the 70’s. However as Katz points out again, Hawkeyes like their games in the 70’s. But unlike the Lopes, they are led by Center Luka Garza. Both teams played one less game, due to COVID-19. Florida State didn’t start their tournament until last night due to Duke’s COVID-19 positive test. They defeated North Carolina to advance to ACC Championship. As for the Yellow Jackets, they played their quarterfinals and defeated Miami Hurricanes. But Virginia Cavaliers had a positive COVID-19 Test, and that is how the Yellow Jackets made it to their first ACC Championship Game since 2010. The Seminoles would like to establish themselves as the ‘New Bloods’ with a win today. Florida State won the regular season title last year and was awarded the champion due to COVID-19 outbreak, last year. ‘Ramblin’ Wreck’ is led by Moses Wright in scoring and rebounding. And Yellow Jackets are led by Jose Alvarado in assists. Seminoles are led by MJ Walker in scoring. RaiQuan Gray leads Florida State in rebounding.
