Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball: 2022 Big Ten MBK Championship Game-Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Purdue Boilermakers

This Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. This Afternoon, it is the 2022 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Championship Game, between Iowa Hawkeyes and Purdue Boilermakers.

Both teams will be in the tournament. This will be Iowa's first championship since 2006. While 2009 was the last time the Boilermakers won the Big Ten Tournament. For Purdue, they have a chance to get the final #1 seed. If they lose today, then I see Villanova getting that final #1 seed.
 
Hawkeyes are led by Keegan Murray in scoring and rebounding. While Joe Touissaint leads Iowa in assists.
 
As for the Boilermakers, they are led by Jaden Ivey in scoring. While Zach Edey leads Purdue in rebounding. While Sasha Stefanovic leads the Northwest Indiana School in assists.

Iowa were ball hawks today. They scored 14 points off 17 turnovers. For the Boilermakers, they need to work on their ball handling if they want to play in New Orleans in three weeks. 

Hawkeyes will face Richmond Spiders in the NCAA MBK Tournament, on Thursday. While Purdue will face Yale in the tournament, on Friday.
