​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Football’. Tonight, it is the 2021-22 National Football Conference Championship Game, between San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams.
 
These two California teams have played in an NFC Championship Game before. In 1989-90 Rams went to San Francisco and got destroyed by the Niners 30-3. And now 32 years later (Along with Rams moving to St. Louis and moving back to Los Angeles) and these two franchises will face each other for the right to play in Super Bowl LVI.
 
It is important for the Rams, as the home team would like to play and host the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks. If they capture the George Halas Trophy, they will be the second team (Last Year’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the first) to play and host a Super Bowl.
 
For the 49ers, they would like to get to the Super Bowl for the 2nd time in 3 years. If they win, they will appear in the Super Bowl for the 8th time in franchise history.
 
Niners are led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in passing. While Elijah Mitchell leads San Francisco in rushing. And Deebo Samuel leads the 5-time Super Bowl Champions in receiving.
 
As for the Rams, they are led by quarterback Matthew Stafford in passing. While Sony Michel leads Los Angeles in rushing. And Cooper Kupp leads the NFC West Champions in receiving.
 
It is San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in the 2021-22 NFC Championship Game, coming up shortly.

49ers are in their white jerseys, gold helmets and pants. While Rams are in their home blue jerseys, blue and gold ram-decaled helmets, and gold pants.

Rams found themselves in the 2nd Half, when they answered 13 unanswered points. The Matthew Stafford-Cooper Kupp connection was unstoppable tonight.

For the Niners, they had some costly penalties and an interception by Jimmy Garoppolo. The question for the Niners, will it be Jimmy G or Trey Lance Next Season. 

Rams will host and play Super Bowl LVI, in two weeks. Los Angeles will face Cincinnati Bengals in that game, in two weeks.
