Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. This Afternoon, it is a 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball-West Region-Round of 32 game, between Michigan State Spartans and Duke Blue Devils. This is the last time Michigan State Head Men’s Basketball Coach Tom Izzo and Duke Blue Devils Coach Mike Krzyzewski will coach each other. As Coach K is in his farewell season. Coach Krzyzewski is hoping the likes of Paolo Banchero and Wendell Moore, Junior will send him into retirement with his 6th National Championship. However, Coach Izzo’s Spartans have other plans. The last time Michigan State and Duke faced each other in the NCAA Tournament, was in 2019. In that Elite 8 game, Cassius Winston and Michigan State upset Zion Williamson and the Blue Devils, to win the East Region and go on to lose to Texas Tech in that year’s Final Four. Spartans are led by Gabe Brown in scoring. While Marcus Bingham, Junior leads Michigan State in rebounding. And A.J. Hoggard leads the East Lansing school in assists. Blue Devils are led by Paulo Banchero in scoring and rebounding. While Wendell Moore, Junior leads Duke in assists. It is Michigan State Spartans and Duke Blue Devils.
