​Hello, and welcome to a special edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. Tonight, it is Game 1 of the National League Championship Series, between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.

It is the first time in this storied rivalry, that the two franchises will play a postseason series against each other. The Giants come in with a 107-win season. However, the Dodgers had a 106-game season and had to beat the Cardinals, to meet the Defending World Series Champs’ old adversaries.

Tonight’s Starting Pitchers are a pair of right-handers. Walker Buehler will start for the Dodgers and Logan Webb will throw for the Giants. Buehler comes in with a strikeout/walk ratio of 4.08, a 3.87 pitches/plate appearance, and 1.12 groundout/airout ratio. As for Webb, he comes in with a K/BB ratio of 4.39, 3.72 P/PA, and 2.50 GO/AO.
