Live-Blogging Shish on Women’s Soccer-2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup Quarterfinals-USWNT vs. Colombia

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Women’s Soccer’. Tonight, it is a quarterfinal match CONCACAF’s inaugural Women’s Gold Cup. Between the United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) and the Colombian Women’s National Football Team.
 
Team USA got off to a good start in Group Stage. They blanked Dominican Republic and Argentina. But then they faced a brick wall known as Mexico. Mexico defeated the Americans 2-0. So now USWNT will face Colombia to begin the knockout portion of this tournament.
 
For Colombia, they defeated Panama. However, they got blanked by Brazil. Before they blanked Puerto Rico, to advance to the knockout stage. They get a chance to knock off one of the world’s juggernauts in Women’s Soccer.
 
Note: The Winner of this match will play Canada on Wednesday Night.
 
It is Team USA and Colombia in the 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup Quarterfinals. The Fixture will begin shortly.

A highly tense 1st Half. But Team USA scored the Match's only 3 goals. USWNT got some great goalkeeping by Alyssa Naeher, as she had a couple of blocks that were game savers.

For Colombia, they played a little undisciplined. That needs to be fixed, as they will play in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

As for Team USA, they advance to the W Gold Cup Semifinal Round. They will play Canada, Wednesday Night.
