​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball'. Tonight, it is a NCAA Men's Basketball Round of 32 Game, in the East Region. Between the Big Ten's Northwestern Wildcats and the Big East's University of Connecticut (UCONN) Huskies.
 
Wildcats are in familiar territory. They won the first round game. And now they get a challenge in the 2nd Round. As they take on U Conn Huskies.
 
For the Huskies, they have played like defending champions. This year, they won the Big East Regular Season and Conference Tournament, on their way to the #1 overall seed. They would like to focus on Northwestern, before they play a possible showdown with San Diego State on Thursday.
 
It is the Northwestern Wildcats and the UConn Huskies, in the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, in the East Region. The game will begin shortly.

U Conn dominated this game from start to finish. They were cold from the foul line. But the Defending Champs played like Champs, Tonight. 

For the Wildcats, they were cold shooting until late 2nd Half. But it was too little, too late. And thus concludes another great season for the Northwestern Men's Basketball Program.
