​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Other Sports’. Day 2 of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics begins with Wheelchair Basketball. The Wheelchair Basketball Game for this blog post is a Men’s Preliminary Game, between Team USA and Germany.
 
US Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team would like to duplicate the success their men and women able-bodied counterparts did a few weeks ago. For Germany, they have pressure due to their ad campaign ‘Choose Hard, Never Easy’. In their ads, the players are describing their will to victory, while having Rammstein’s ‘Ich Will’ playing in the commercials.
 
It should be a tense matchup, between the two countries.
 
Team USA and Germany, in the Preliminary Round of Men’s Wheelchair Basketball, coming up shortly.

Wheelchair Basketball is like regular Olympic Basketball, where there are 4-ten-minute quarters. 

The Sport Classes are between 1-4.5. And a team cannot have more than 14 points in sports class.

USA are the defending Wheelchair Basketball Paralympic Champions. They won that one in Rio in 2016. 

Team USA are in their white uniforms, with navy shorts. While Germany are in their black uniforms. ​

Final Thoughts:
Team USA clamped down on the physical defense. Once, the game went to the free throws, USA were able to withstand the Germany 3-point blitzkrieg. 

USA will play Friday at 3:00 am CDT/5:00 pm JST, when they face Iran. While Germany will play Great Britain on Friday at 12:45 am CDT/2:45 pm JST.
