2025 Calder Cup Playoffs: Central Division Semifinals-Milwaukee Admirals at Rockford IceHogs

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is Game 4 of the Central Division Semifinal, in the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs. Between Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville Predators AHL Affiliate) and the Rockford IceHogs (Chicago Blackhawks Affiliate).
The road team has won all three games in this series. IceHogs took Games 1 & 2. While Milwaukee kept their season in Game 3. Whoever wins at home, in these next two games will win this best-of-five series.

Milwaukee was aggressive in Game 3. They scored 6 goals in 3 shots on goal. Half of those 6, came from the twig of Kieffer Bellows. Bellows scored a hat-trick on Wednesday. The Admirals need to continue that mindset, Tonight in Game 4.

For the IceHogs, they got great goaltending by Drew Commesso, in the first two games in Milwaukee. But he came down to Earth in Game 3. As only stopped 22 of 27 SOG. They need the Drew Commesso of the first 4 games of the Calder Cup Playoffs, for the IceHogs.

Milwaukee is led by Kieffer Bellows in goals scored and points. The Admirals are led by Ozzy Wiesblatt in assists.

As for the IceHogs, they are led by Joey Anderson in goals scored and points. Rockford are co-led by Zach Sanford and Cole Guttman in assists.

It is the Milwaukee Admirals and the Rockford IceHogs, in Game 1 of the Central Division Semifinals, in the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs. Game 1 will begin shortly.

Final Thoughts:
The IceHogs had trouble staying out of the penalty box. And it cost them a series clincher. At 14:27 into the 2nd Period, Ozzy Wiesblatt scored a PPG, that proved to be the game winner for Milwaukee. 

So, Game 4 held the trend of the road team won all of the games played. 

Both teams will now head to Milwaukee, for the 5th and deciding game of this Best-of-5 Series. That game will be played on Sunday Afternoon.
