2024 Calder Cup Playoffs-North Semifinals-Game 4-Syracuse Crunch at Rochester Americans

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Professional Ice Hockey’. Tonight, it is Game 5 of the 2024 North Division Finals, in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. Between the Syracuse Crunch (Tampa Bay Lightning AHL Affiliate) and the Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres Affiliate).

Amerks won Game 1. And then the Crunch took games 2 & 3. They were leading 3-0 heading into the 3rd Period of the Game 4. And the Amerks scored 4 unanswered goals including Brett Murray’s Skate-Off Goal in overtime.

Now the Amerks are hoping to carry that momentum, from a 6-day layoff. While the Crunch hopes the long rest will help them win this deciding game of the series.

The winner will play the winner of Belleville/Cleveland Series, in the North Division Finals.

It is the Syracuse Crunch and the Rochester Americans, in Game 4 of the North Division Finals, in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. Game 4 will begin shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Crunch learned from their mistakes in Game 4. They slammed the door on the Amerks, in the 3rd Period.

For the Amerks, they couldn't get scoring chances in this decisive game. 

Syracuse advances to North Division Finals. They will face the Cleveland Monsters. Where? Dates and Times to be determined.
