Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Basketball’. Tonight, it is a 2025 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Tournament 1st Round Game, between the Air Force Falcons (4-27, 1-19 MWC) and the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (17-14, 11-9 MWC).

Not a good season for the Falcons. A loss ends this miserable season.

For the Runnin’ Rebels, it’s been a roller coaster season. For them to steal a bid, they are going to need to run the table and win the Mountain West Tournament.

The Falcons are led by Ethan Taylor in scoring, rebounding, and assists.

As for the Rebels, they are led by Dedan Thomas, Junior in scoring and assists. While Jeremiah Cherry leads UNLV in rebounding.

It is the Air Force Falcons and the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, in the 1st Round of the 2025 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship. The game will begin shortly.

Falcons had a good 1st Half. But then the Rebels took over the game in the 2nd Half. And Air Force ran out of the gas.

For the Falcons, they just didn't have anybody outside of Ethan Taylor.

With the victory, UNLV advances to the 2025 Mountain West Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals. They will face the Utah State Aggies, Tomorrow Night over in Las Vegas.
